"The Jefferson Custodian Crew is amazing and goes above and beyond to keep Jefferson running. Not only do they excel at their jobs, but they are all wonderful to talk to and super helpful.
*Ken has been an awesome addition to the Jefferson building! Thank you to Ken for helping to keep our buildings clean and safe. Also, he always offers a little bit of comedic relief at the end of the day when you really need it! Ken and his humorous personality keeps others smiling and laughing while also going above and beyond his job description. He is always willing to help others out to make our jobs easier.
*Nick is a PHENOMENAL custodian who ALWAYS goes above and beyond. He has a great sense of humor and fits right in with the Jefferson Crew. We are truly lucky to have him.
*Hannah always comes in at the end of the day with a smile and to chat before moving on to the next classroom.
Our custodians are great! Thank you for keeping our building looking good. Thank you dearest custodians for all you do for the building and everyone in it. You never make us feel like we are a giant pain in the butt, which of course we are!

Pumpkin runs and field days are some of our favorite Firebird traditions with Mr. Forche - thanks for all you do in so many arenas!"

"Emily Tubbs is an AWESOME Meadowvale safety aide! Miss Emily does so much more than supervise a playground. She takes the time to get to know the students and provide them redirection and guidance when they make a poor choice or have a day when they are struggling. A staff member recently said, "I heard an adult talking calmly, in the hall, to a student who had done something wrong. This adult asked the right questions, used the right terms; consequences, appropriate, etc. I peeked out into the hall and saw Emily, the recess aide. She is amazing! She is such a wonderful communicator with our kiddos. She is patient and kind. I just loved her demeanor with that student." Miss Emily is truly top notch and an asset to Meadowvale and the district!"

She has made the most amazing events happen through the Parent Club, as well as incredible creations for School Board Appreciation, even as she spends her days loving our Firebird kindergarteners with Miss Cummins. We are so thankful for the helpful, creative, positive roles that Mrs. Scholl is ALWAYS dedicated to and willing to do!"

Izzy is a guard and after the loopers go outside, she always wants to help Ms. Poole clean classrooms! She tries to help and always asks if she can, which is perfect since Ms. Pool won a WLS Foundation Grant for child-sized cleaning supplies!
Tis the season for state competitions and Whitmer BPA showed up and showed out as well! Congrats to Roman, for placing 9th in Network Administration using Cisco and
Hannah, Makenzie and Finn placing 9th as a Video Production Team!

"Mrs. Crystal Anderson is a phenomenal art educator. Her lessons are innovative, and her dedication to students is top notch. Recently, Mrs. Anderson offered a clay class to the staff at Silver Creek, sharing her talents so they could enjoy themselves. In addition, she is a true leader of the art education community in Northwest Ohio. I cannot stress enough how lucky we are to have her in WLS, fostering a positive climate for the visual arts."
Ms. Anderson has passion for her craft, a heart for people and work ethic that is unmatched. We are so incredibly lucky she is in WLS!

"If you want to see a Whitmer legend, look no further than Sherri Gauthier. Currently a secretary in the WHS Athletic Office, Ms. Gauthier is as kind as they come. She is helpful, patient and always willing to lend a smile or listening ear. The kids appreciate her soft sweetness and the adults come to her for the same! She works quietly behind the scenes to set up for events, organize t-shirt distribution, and even serves food at the annual Veteran's tailgate. This is in addition to making sure every athlete has what they need to be successful, and printing awards at the end of their season. Ms. Gauthier has Panther blood in her veins and we are so lucky to have her at Whitmer!"

"We have to shout out our awesome paraprofessional, Christine Bare! Miss Christine, as the kids know her, can always be counted on to provide support for staff and students. She works with students in small groups and has even formed a "lunch bunch" with students to promote kindness and compassion. Miss Christine leads with her heart and has the best interests of all students in mind. Miss Christine has a wide range of experience and knowledge to assist students, yet she is always willing to try something new. She cares deeply for her students and we are lucky to have her as part of our Meadowvale team."

You can find her in the classroom giving hugs, candy treats or stern advice to many students throughout the school day. Mickey is willing to help with any task; whether it is assisting with an assignment, defusing a situation or crosswalk duty in the afternoon, she does it with a huge smile on her face!
