STAFF SHOUT: "Our custodial staff is second to none. They all work tirelessly to make sure our buildings are spic and span. I would like to shout out one in particular - Tonya in the CTC. She is dedicated and thorough in all ways! She makes sure we as a staff have everything we need to do our jobs well. Every last detail is thought of. She often goes above and beyond! She even added a scented plug-in to my room when I lamented one day of a smell. She hates taking days off and often lets us know when she has to be out, so we know when she will return. Absolutely love her - she’s a very hard worker!!! As all our custodians are !!!" When you talk about a crew that is second to none, our custodial staff is TOPS!

She started off at the age of 18 driving, moved into being one of our drivers trainers, does the preschool run, has also driven a late run AND she is our field trip scheduler! Her mom was also a bus driver and bus trainer, and retired from WLS. Lisa has raised her children in our district and now she has her grandkids in the district! That is a WLS family. STAFF SHOUT: "Emily Tubbs is an AWESOME Meadowvale safety aide! Miss Emily does so much more than supervise a playground. She takes the time to get to know the students and provide them redirection and guidance when they make a poor choice or have a day when they are struggling. A staff member recently said, "I heard an adult talking calmly, in the hall, to a student who had done something wrong. This adult asked the right questions, used the right terms; consequences, appropriate, etc. I peeked out into the hall and saw Emily, the recess aide. She is amazing! She is such a wonderful communicator with our kiddos. She is patient and kind. I just loved her demeanor with that student." Miss Emily is truly top notch and an asset to Meadowvale and the district!" Passion for her work & a genuine love for kids makes Emily Tubbs the PERFECT fit for WLS!
