STAFF SHOUT:
"The Panther Rooms at the high school could not run without Christine Arvay. She steps up with great ideas, a helping hand, and a little muscle whenever it's needed. Christine's loyalty to the students and staff is unwavering. She's the first one to get here and the last one to leave on a daily basis. Her attendance is impeccable, and she's completely up for any task. Christine Arvay is a total rockstar!!!!"
Ms. Arvay is absolutely relentless in her pursuit for kids to have a great experience. We could not be more grateful for the effort she consistently displays to make that happen!

A (RETIRED) STAFF (AND COMPANY!) SHOUTOUT:
"We want to give a shout out to retired Meadowvale Art teacher Mrs. Stacy Sattler, who generously returned to the Meadowvale Panther Room to do art projects woth our students! One we turned into a parent gift after her current boss at Peace, Love and Pottery (Sylvania Avenue) donated coasters and supplies and allowed Stacy to use the kiln at the store to finish the project off! We love it when one of our favorite former teachers comes out for a visit and brings us cool art projects to do from her new employer. Big thanks to Mrs. Stacy Sattler AND Peace, Love and Pottery! "
OUR RETIRED STAFF CONTINUE TO BRING US SO MANY GIFTS OF THEIR TIME, TALENTS AND LOVE!

Ms. Kusic provided her Hiawatha staff with a Mexican fajita lunch (and small gift!) to show her appreciation for all they do!
Starting the new year with positive energy is the Timberwolf Way!

PARENT SHOUT:
"I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exceptional care and attention that Mrs. Manley provides to her students, specifically my daughter, Emersen. It is important to me that you know how deeply we value the kind of educator she is.
Mrs. Manley consistently goes above and beyond her role as a classroom teacher. She not only supports Emersen academically, but also demonstrates genuine care for her overall well-being. For example, without any prompting from us, she has been attentive to Emersen’s headaches by thoughtfully offering a small bit of sugar and monitoring her water intake throughout the day. These may seem like small gestures, but to a parent, they speak volumes about a teacher’s character, awareness, and heart.
Parent-teacher conferences with Mrs. Manley were equally thorough and impactful. She took the time to fully explain Emersen’s progress, needs, and strengths in a way that was both comprehensive and encouraging. The additional websites and logins she provided for practice at home have already proven to be extremely helpful and have given us meaningful tools to support learning beyond the classroom.
Her structure, expectations, and consistency have given our child a learning environment where she feels both supported and challenged. In a world where flexibility often outweighs accountability, Mrs. Manley strikes the balance beautifully. The results show and the respect she earns from students is genuine.
She is an invaluable part of Meadowvale, and we are grateful that Emersen has the opportunity to learn under her guidance."
What a beautiful tribute to a beautiful teacher!

PARENT to STAFF SHOUTOUT:
"I met this wonderful lady a few weeks back & asked to take her picture. I was driving my grandkids to school, and drove up to a stop sign at Mcgregor and Clover. She was smiling and waving, telling all the kids to have a great day and being so kind. No one was behind me, so I rolled the window down and we chatted. She works at Mcgregor and Greenwood. WLS is so lucky to have a person with such positivity and a contagious smile. She left me feeling very thankful for that day."
Valerie Glover is JOY in human form. ❤️We ARE so lucky to have her and this grandparent has it exactly right!
