2012 Alumnus Brandon Copic won Storm Chaser of the Year out of over 700 possible candidates! An avid weather expert and professional storm chaser, Brandon is even going to be part of a be a part of a newTV show on a natonal network about storm chasing! What an awesome alumni story!

Conn Weissenberger Post 587 honored the top scoring students from the Americanism Test, given by the Whitmer Social Studies Department in the fall. The top scoring male and female students of the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades were honored with a dinner, certificate, and a cash prize, in front of their proud families! Way to go Alex, Riley, Braelyn, Gage, Noah and Phoebe!

"A lot of teachers just care about learning and not really how to get a student to learn. They care that they didn’t do their homework but might not care about the reason why they didn’t. Mr. Moore is not like that. Mr. Moore (Whitmer English) knows how to get students to learn and want to learn. From singing in class to get our attention to giving us activities that are actually meaningful and taking suggestions about things he could do better in class. He also cares which goes a long way. I wish all teachers were like Mr. Moore."
