Taelar has stepped right in to make sure they feel supported, included, and successful. In STEM class, she has gone above and beyond—breaking down assignments into manageable steps, using Google Translate to bridge communication gaps, and making sure every student has a voice in the classroom.
Her patience, creativity, and dedication are opening doors for our students and ensuring they can fully participate in hands-on learning. Taelar is a shining example of compassion and teamwork, and we are so lucky to have her as part of our Jefferson Jaguar family. 💙💛"

"Miss Katie Mikolajczyk is amazing! From the time she was at Hiawatha now to Monac, my son never wanted to get out of the car. Most days we were late as he didn't want to go to school because it was new and scary as a kindergartener. Miss Katie was always watching for us and would meet us at the door; sometimes she even came out to the car just to help with getting him in to school, always with a smile and warm welcome! He was so pleased to see her on his second day at Monac. Thank you from our family, Miss Katie - for making our little guy's days a bit smoother and welcoming!"

"I had Mrs. Stalbaum through 7th and 8th grade at Washington. I’m now a freshman and still keep in touch every Friday. She always made a positive mood in her classroom ,no matter what kind of day SHE was having! She is so supportive of all her students and went to many of my after-school events. She didn’t have to go - she wanted to! And I will forever and always be grateful for that because when no one else was, she was there. If I was having a bad day, she noticed and would help so much! She seriously is the best teacher ever and even though she’s funny and kind, she doesn't let her students walk over her. They are going to get their work done as long as she’s there! I’m so proud of all that she does and has to put up with. She will always make an impact on my life and I’m forever grateful for her!"
