Washington Local Schools is excited to introduce Flint, our newest therapy dog, who will serve as Whitmer Middle School’s four-legged friend when the building opens in fall 2026.
Flint is a playful and loving companion who enjoys running, chasing after a ball, and—most importantly—bringing comfort and joy to students. He lives with Dr. Villar but spends his days traveling between both junior highs, spreading positivity and support wherever he goes.
Therapy dogs like Flint provide students with a sense of calm, reduce stress, and create a welcoming environment for learning. As Whitmer Middle School prepares to open its doors, we are thrilled that Flint will be part of our community, ready to greet students with wagging tail and plenty of love.
