We urge all of our students to make the most of the extra-curricular opportunities Washington Local has to offer.  Jefferson's offers to its students: Pep Club, Speech and Debate, Student Council, Youth 2 Youth, and many opportunities for students to participate on various athletic teams.

As said by Malcolm X, "Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today."  It is our goal to partner with our families and our community to foster this belief in all of our students.  Each and every one of them has the opportunity to make a positive change in the world.
