In an effort to improve both organization and safety, WLS is requiring all 7/8th grade students to use clear backpacks. Students participating in an extracurricular activity are permitted to carry non-transparent bags to store items pertaining to their particular activity (i.e. band, athletics, etc.). Upon entry, all extracurricular activity bags will be locked in designated areas. Clear backpacks will be provided and non-transparent pouches will be permitted up to 6”x 9”. Elementary and high school students will be allowed to continue using traditional backpacks at this time. 

As always, all bags are subject to search.
