  • Approval would offset a projected deficit of $13.3 million in 2014
  • Revenue from millage approved in 2011 cannot be collected until 2012
  • WLS kept its pledge to make the 2008 levy funds last three years
  • Tax dollars voted locally stay in Washington Local
  • Approval would ensure continued world-class programs and services

Why We're On the Ballot

  • Projected $13.3 million budget deficit in 2014
  • Ohio school funding ruled unconstitutional three times by Ohio Supreme Court
  • Reduction in state and federal funding
  • Even with the November 2008 levy passage, our revenues are less than prior to the passage of that levy

Money Well Spent
